What did Emmitt Till do to deserve to be called an idiot? (He was murdered in 1955?)
He was a black boy who wolf-whistled a married white woman in the deep south in the 1950s, which was stupid enough, but then he compounded it by bragging about how many white women he’d supposedly had sex with, even after he had been abducted by the people, including the woman’s husband, who eventually killed him.
Basically, what he did was roughly the equivalent of going into Harlam dressed as a Grand Wizard of the KKK and carrying a sign saying ‘I Hate N**gers’.
Should have said the cousin, muh bad (I went in the wrong direction), but hey, he (the cousin) is pimping out that 1955 murder as something that is contemporary, like it happened yesterday...
