This literally made me sick.
You are not alone, FRiend. It is having its toll on me too, as well as many other long standing and very dear FReepers.
I remember with great clarity the very proud day that I stood to recite “the pledge”, in front of my Kindergarden class. I remember feeling special and I remember the pride I felt. Our flag has been my flag, and it has played a very intricate part during important moments in my life.
I want to write more, but my sleeping meds are kicking in .... feel kinda drunk.

Actually, the proper procedure would be to burn it, then piss on it. Stir the ashes and piss on it again to make sure it is completely out.
