A 29-year-old woman is being questioned after police said she beat a 61-year-old man over the head with a high heel shoe so badly Sunday afternoon that he needed staples to close the wounds, police said.
No charges have been filed against the woman but police are interviewing her this morning, police said.
It happened Sunday afternoon at a home in the 3300 block of West Eastwood Avenue in the Albany Park neighborhood as the victim tried to wake the sleeping woman, who was on a couch in a front room, police said.

Those stiletto heels can qualify as a weapon, and this woman isn’t the first to use them for malicious purposes! No word on when the Brady organization will seek to create a national registry for all pump-toting — I mean pump-wearing — women.
