This is odd, isn’t it? Normally, a brilliant politician gets their admiration in spades. And a magna cum laude law degree from Harvard, editing the Harvard law review AND the Latino Harvard review. Why...if this were Obama, they would be falling all over themselves licking his boots.
AND, if it were any other Latino moderate Republican with those credentials, they’d be building him a throneroom at theis very moment.
But, Cruz is a Christian Conservative. And that disqualifies him in their minds.
None of that achievement counts with him.

I have to laugh and gag at these birther posters when it comes to Ted Cruz, given that I have 3 grandchildren, born to my American daughter and her Caymanian husband on Grand Cayman Island, and all three are “natural born American citizens,” and also Caymanian citizens.
All three could be eligible for POTUS but each would have to fist renounce their Caymanian citizenship, just like Ted Cruz and his Canadian citizenship.
Parts of Canada and the Cayman’s are much the same.

Watching these people who are supposedly "conservative" makes me want to bang my head on my monitor. As you say, here is someone who should admire Cruz for his gifts and accomplishments, yet she chooses to trash him and demand a moderate.
Likewise, the pharisee wing of the GOP, at this moment just the birthers, are finding some niggling reasons to take him down. Trust me, there will be other "purist factions" that will be just as niggling and stupid when they should be pitching in and pushing for someone like him to ascend as a leader of the conservative movement. (Hint: RPaulists, etc.)
No one said the fight would be easy.............
