Outgoing DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano Warns of ‘Serious’ Cyber Attack, Unprecedented Natural Disaster

The outgoing Homeland Security Secretary has a warning for her successor: A massive and “serious” cyber attack on the U.S. homeland is coming, and a natural disaster — the likes of which the nation has never seen — is also likely on its way.
So prepare, and bring “a large bottle of Advil,” Janet Napolitano told her yet-to-be-named replacement in a farewell address Tuesday morning.
“Many things still need tending, and my successor will most certainly have a full plate on his or her hands,” said Napolitano, who leaves her post next week after more than four years at the helm of the Department of Homeland Security.
Napolitano said she faced “many challenges” during her tenure at DHS, from the H1N1 flu pandemic in 2009 to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010 and Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
DHS — backed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the U.S. Coast Guard and other federal departments and agencies — led the federal government’s response to such disasters.
During Napolitano’s tenure, her department managed 325 federally declared disasters, and issued more than 60 emergency declarations, she said at the National Press Club in Washington this morning.
Leading a department created in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks meant Napolitano has also been at the forefront of the nation’s counterterrorism and border enforcement efforts.

Not wasted on me, I liked it.
I had an interesting telephonic conversation with Dr. Per Bak (he was at Brookhaven) many years ago regarding this same concept. I asked him whether the sandtable chaos theory model could, by analogy, be applied to various systems or crises in the real world. He said “yes, that’s correct.” I then asked him whether the same concept could be applied to many, or even all, crises interacting together in the real world. He answered, “yes, it certainly could.” It seems there is no real equilibrium in complex systems, just shifting states of disequilibrium (LeChetalier’s principle).
The Big Cyst doesn’t have any particular disaster in mind. This statement is just to maintain a certain ambient level of anxiety in the populace. The gov’t wants people just a bit jumpy because it makes application of their favorite ‘buffalo jump’ method of governance more effective. “Never let a crisis go to waste” works better if everyone is primed to panic.

I checked the calendar this AM. What I discovered was that a cold, white crystalline substance could start falling from the skies over America in about 3 - 4 months.

She is told by scientists of natural disasters coming or may come, and we are not told. NASA and our astronomers keep her informed and not us. It could be a natural disaster here as Yellowstone blowing up or earthquake somewhere here as well as what's in the solar system.
Since they are doing a mock “all power is out across the nation” disaster training this coming November, with companies/hospitals/peace officers/emergency services, etc., across the nation participating, I suspect it's due to the danger of a cyber attack on our power grid - however, anything that takes out the grid, means a country shut down.
I'll tell you this: If you are not prepared to live at least six months, and a year is much better, without any public utilities including water and including food and medical supplies, you are at risk of losing your life - it's time to face facts and get prepared. Don't tell me nothing will happen, ever, to take away your water and food and other necessities for life.
Hussein has a prepared bunker to save his life and you paid for it - what about you - have you got supplies?
