I may have been a little too subtle with the word “apparently”...

Solzhenitsyn had a good quote about this, saying that if the people had met the secret police with even just pitchforks and clubs, they would have thought twice about arresting anyone.

BTW, do what, exactly? Wait for the goon squads? I made my pitch before the elections, but got shot down right here on FR by the “true conservatives” that stayed home on election day... Accomplices to the crime, in my opinion.

Aw hell, we've got another one.

Listen, if you have one guy running who wants to move us two steps to the left, and another guy running who wants to move us one step to the left, then voting for either guy moves us to the left.We are a site dedicated to moving us to the right. The math is not that hard to do. Stop blaming Freepers for the mess we're in. The ones that kept voting, for the last 100 years, for the guy that only wants to move us one step to the left are the reason we are in this mess.

As for what we can do to resist, I'll say this (hi NSA! oh and f*** you!) NOBODY can make you do anything. They can request you do something, and they can threaten you with consequences if you say no, but they can't make you say "yes". If you decide to say "no", the 2nd Amendment provides us with the tools to give our answer weight.
