Oprah is very religious and uses a lot of “god” talk, but the truth is, she is not a Christian. What she believes is essentially New Age. She believes that there are many paths to God. Jesus is not the “way, the truth, and the life” but a good man. Sin is not sin. God approves just about everything you do. Being true to yourself, whatever that means, is more important than holiness.

Why in the world would a minister of the gospel invite a nonbeliever to headline at a Christian conference?

Yes, well, that is why I subtitled it “Oprah Worship?” :)

The Oprah has very little respect in my book...I do believe she worked hard to get where she is, and now as one of the .01%, she seems to have truly forgotten her position is one she is in only because God allowed her to get there...

I remember hearing recently that when she was a young woman, she was well-versed in Scripture and the Bible...but now it appears as though show biz has taken her heart away...

I do know for a while she was a member of Jeremiah Wright’s church, or at least attended, but even he was too whacko for her....
