To: I got the rope

What I think is interesting - neither I nor any of my friends had measles vaccinations back in the early 1940’s, nor did my children or their friends. Rather a common practice to go ahead and expose your kids to them when they were small and then we just didn’t worry about it. Same thing with chicken pox and mumps. Only vaccination my kids had was for DPT.

Remember March of Dimes drives. German measles was a top five cause of birth defects.

Immunization has greatly reduced congenital birth defects.
