No...it's a thing of the future.

The current federal government is fixed in both political parties, and it is fixed against liberty. Mark Levin's "Liberty Amendments" route may be the last non-violent solution to restoring American liberty.

Liberty Amendments Bump!!

“Is Liberty a Thing of the Past in the United States?”

Probably. Then again, the US government is working very hard on becoming a thing of the past as well.

“I think the date of the death of liberty was April 17, 1861.”

I think Gov. Henry might have had it right. In which case the date would be September 17, 1787.

Every military Christian Chaplin should resign. By staying in they’re putting career and government ahead of the God they supposedly serve.

Did I spell it wrong? I’ll start over. Every Christian preacher who serves in the military should resign. And that would include Christian Slater if he was in the military.

Everybody knows Charlie Chaplin and his evil Nazi regime enslaved Europe and tried to take over the world.

If ObamaCare gets embedded in with the low information voter demographic, Republican candidates will pander to voters by assuring them that they would do a far better job at running that socialistic system than those wasteful Democrats do.

This is not far fetched. How many generations have Republicans been telling voters how much better they would run public education?

My point is clear: the answer to inefficient government is to have less of it. There is no “reform” possible. Government is a political animal that has NO business being involved in any business. Similarly, we must not allow any business to become entwined with government.

A simple implication of this is that we must have a separation of banking and government. We must get banks out of their cronee/crony relationship with government via the Federal Reserve Corporation, a company of which the federal government owns ZERO shares, and a company that is run by the banks for the banks.

That a constitution and laws are meaningless without honorable people at the head of our government.

The real shame is that we refuse to dust off the tools the framers gave us to restore republican freedom. Impeachment, power of the purse and Article V are still there, but useless if not used.

I've contacted my state representative regarding Article V. While his response was less than impressive, I think I planted an idea that he wasn't aware of.

We really don't want to go down the road lined with lampposts and rope.

Independence and self-sufficiency take work. Once most people get a taste of it, they are easily seduced by promises that they can have the fruits of hard labor without effort, just for voting for the slavers.

People will enslave themselves as long as they can remain comfortable.

Big Brother will smile and increase their chocolate ration to 40% of what it already is.

I was just talking to a sharp young man. He’s working on his criminology degree and wants to work for Homeland Security. I said I was sorry and hopped he changed his mind. He was surprised. I told him about militarizing the police, seizing guns, intimidating no-knock raids. I told him he’d be working for the side that puts Americans in concentration camps. I’m certain he thought I was a nut. Hopefully, he’ll go look some of the stuff I said.

Wrongfully take liberties away from one group, and eventually, all groups have no liberties.

The totalitarian left has been marching double-time for decades while the Republicans refuse to fight.

That may sound good, but would make pawns of the troops whose spiritual needs our chaplains have been called to serve. Military chaplains today are like missionaries in oppressed countries. Every chaplain I know feels even more determined now with their flocks under spiritual attack from their own government. While they struggle under their own government's hostile restrictions, they must also struggle in spite of it in obedience to their call.

Just my opinion, but if a Christian Chaplain refuses to use the name Jesus or Christ in prayer, he is denying Christ.

I think about being tied and forced to kneel. Then some guy with a sword tells me to deny Christ or he’ll cut off my head. I’d be afraid to deny Him. What if I denied Him then the guy decided to cut off my head anyway?
