Freedom as meant in the constitution and enjoyed by Americans for 200 years is a thing of the past in America.

The real shame is that we refuse to dust off the tools the framers gave us to restore republican freedom. Impeachment, power of the purse and Article V are still there, but useless if not used.
I've contacted my state representative regarding Article V. While his response was less than impressive, I think I planted an idea that he wasn't aware of.
