Sven-Thor Halvördsen, Chairman of the Nobel Awards Committee that meets every four years in Oslo, Norway, may be having second thoughts as to the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to Barack 0bama, an unprecedented grant of the notable award to someone who had done, well, essentially nothing.
While driving a team of huskies on his annual vacation dogsled race from Närvik to Kirkenes near the Arctic Circle, a family tradition, Sven-Thor was overheard stating “Vi virkelig skrudd opp, gav vi dette til en idiot.”, which loosely translated, means “We really screwed up, we gave this thing to an idiot.”
In a second comment, Sven-Thor said “På den annen side, ville jeg passe på å få meg en liten smak av at Sarah Palin, hun ville bare rette på disse lange kjøre hundeslede løp” which, translated, means “On the other hand, I’d sure like to get me a little taste of that Sarah Palin, she’d be just the right thing for these long dogsled races”.
Hundslede, indeed.
