No one has considered that Syria’s Air Defense systems were supplied by Russia, and probably manned by Russians. What will happen when we start killing Russians??

“What will happen when we start killing Russians??”

They just might return the favor.

It’s a sad state of affairs when the leader of a communist nation is more believable than the “leader” of our nation.

I know that it’s very hard to do so, but if the Russians shoot down a couple of our B-2s, it would be ... embarassing.

I don’t think the Russians stationed in Syria are going to just sit around and wait to get hit.

Putin and Assad are a million times more credible than Obama and Kerry for no other reason than that actual independently verifiable facts match their version of the story, and not Obama’s. This is the outcome supporters of Clinton’s impeachment knew would come to pass - if the President was allowed to openly lie to us, it would grow as all government does, and we would inevitably, at some future point (now) be lied to 100% of the time.

When I rank national security threats, leadership that is not trusted by the people to even deliver information accurately - never mind actually perform its duties - has to be no further down than second on the list. How can a nation defend itself when the leadership is so completely disassociated with everyone else, including its own military?

Yes, the translations don't make for smooth linear reading.

I never thought I would see the day when Russian government leaders wold be obviously calm, candid and responsible, and the America government officials, petulant, lying, irresponsible, warmongering criminal accomplices.

Syria has the Russian S-300 antiaircraft system, it is good but most of our stuff can get around it most of the time.

The S-350 is just deployed, only in Russia, it is very deadly for anything that files in the atmosphere.

What pisses me off is not one person has the guts to resign over this. If I was on that committee I’d ask two questions:

“Mr. Dempsey, would you consider yourself a ‘yes man’?”

and

“Mr. Kerry, are you well? Is there something wrong with your face? It looks swollen.”

Try my translation:

"They lie shamefully' - Putin on the U.S. authorities' statements on the Syria's affairs.

The Russian President Vladimir Putin describes as 'lies' a statement by the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in the U.S. Congress during the recent debates on possible U.S. military involvement in the Syrian conflict.

The U.S. authorities lied that there were no Al-Qaeda in the Arabian country during the debates on possible use of force in the Congress, says Putin.

"They were lying, of course, shamefully. I watched the debates. A congressman asks Mr. Kerry: 'Is there Al-Qaeda? Is it true they're building up there?' - 'No, we responsibly answer they're not there'", said Putin in a meeting with human rights activists in the Kremlin.

The President reminded that the international terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda is one of the largest fighting forces allied with the Syrian opposition.

"The main fighting unit is so-called Al-Nusra (sp?), it's a unit of Al-Qaeda. They know this. This [their lies] were surprising and embarrassing me, because we’re used to communicate with them, we assume they're gentlemen and ladies. Well, he was lying. He knew that he was lying. This is sad."

He also noted that the U.S Congress has power to authrorise a strike on Syria.
