My kids had a half dozen a-holes just like this in high school. The only principle they held to without fail was 'whats in it for me', essentially mailing it in until they could collect that nice pension.

All of them started out with lip service about wanting free and open discussions but immediately marginalized any kid who didn't tow the CTA line on every issue discussed.

Most kids recognized this and dutifully parroted the required points of view. Woe to the one or two who didn't.

Yeah, I read stories like that all the time skeeter. Makes me glad my kids were out of school before things got so bad, but I live in a conservative area of South Texas.

I know the colleges are pure liberal anymore and a kid needs a good moral background to survive it. Also know they often have to just ‘play’ along with the professors to get a passing grade. Training in ‘deception’ we could call it!
