It was a mistake to escalate the war there with so many troops only to give the enemy a pull out date.
I think what is freaking people out is that Bush fought against Al Qaeda and Obama is arming them and installing them in power.

People are freaking out because they now realize that Obama and Bush were taking orders, not giving them. And that scares the crap out of most people.
Only 9% of the population is in favor of going to war here...and they are going to do it anyway. Clearly, “the people” are not in charge anymore.

People are also freaked out because there is absolutely NO reason for us to be there...Bush had 9/11 behind him and actually Saddam had been supporting our enemies and that was the rationale. Bush also wanted to knock back Syria, which really was a threat at that time because it was hiding Saddam’s stocks and working with Iran. But at the time when Syria could have been considered a threat, the Dems defended Assad.
People are confused and freaked out now because of Obama’s completely irrational actions. It’s all about him. And I don’t think we’ve ever had a US president who sent our people to war just because he felt like it.
And we’ve certainly never had one before who sent our troops out as mercenaries for Islam.
People are freaking out about Syria because people generally don’t believe what this incompetent administration says about events in the Middle East.

Even most low information voters understand that helping Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood is NOT in America’s best interests, snakehead (Carville /spit). And they’re also starting to understand that doing so is Obama’s primary goal.
Today it has been revealed that the fault is squarely on Bush, Congress and the world. Obama merely plays golf, vacations, and occasionally gives speeches setting us straight.
People are freaked out about Syria because:
a) you have anti-war freaks like Kerry and Obama suddenly turning into hawks under spurious circumstances.
b) Obama has already screwed up Egypt and Lybia
c) this may cause another spike in gasoline prices.
The lefties chanted “no blood for oil” during Bush’s wars. Now you can chant back “no blood for gas” right back at them.
United States was attacked when Bush was President. Syria has not attacked us or threatened us. Obama is just trying to help his Muslim Brotherhood control the entire mideast. More information is coming out about who unleashed the chemicals.
