Obama: World's credibility at stake over Syria (not mine)
Global Post ^ | 9/4/13 | Agence France-Presse

"I didn't set a red line. The world set a red line," Obama said in Stockholm, referring to international rules banning the use of chemical weapons, even in case of war.

"My credibility is not on the line. The international community's credibility is on the line and America and Congress's credibility is on the line because we give lip service to the notion that these international norms are important."

The one is so full of it.
Once everything falls apart the LSM will still blame Bush and the Republicans. . .
As my tag line says the stupid monkey has a live hand grenade and no idea how dangerous it is. It is just a matter of time before he pulls the pin. He found a way to keep Bengazi, IRS, Fast & furious etc off the radar.

Obama - full of horse sh*t, as usual.

This guy is shameless, and lies, dodges, and evades the truth as a matter of course.

Clinton had trouble in defining what “is” is. Obama is apparently trying to differentiate between different shades of red, as in “When I said ‘red line’, I meant a different shade of red. Not that ‘red’, but the other ‘red’”.

Obama’s trying to change the subject from what he threatened if Syria crossed the red line to who invented the red line.

And the US media sighs deeply in admiration.

sorry obunghole odinga obamaroid... I heard Rush and Fox play your past statements where you sparky... and that big old cocky “reggie love tunnel” said otherwise... you actually said that you had a RED LINE and then you narrowly defined what crossing it would be. You are an evil liar, deceiver and thief... you are abhorrent to GOD and men that love the gift of Freedom and Liberty that HE bestowed upon us with the Constitution that HE inspired men to write.

First of all, he's lying about his NOT setting the Red Line...

Second of all, while he tries to off-load his responsibility to cover himself, he doesn't have any problem trashing the Constitution, repeatedly, to further HIS Agenda, but blames others for that, too.

He, like the 47%, have been indoctrinated to play the "Victim" card, to escape responsibility for their actions (abortion, diseases, criminal behavior, reliance on others for lack of work ethic, etc.).

I don't undertsand what the problem is. Why would we be worried about chemical weapons in Syria. After all the liberals all know that there were never any chemical weapons in Iraq (despite the tons of precursors we found and documentary evidence), there was no trail of chemical weapon shipments to syria (again despite the evidence), so there's obviously no way syria could have chemical weapons.

Unless of course barry and the brain dead liberals (wow great name for a band) have been lying to us all along and President Bush was right!

Wonder if the Press will bother to ask 1. Who supplied them to Syria? 2. Since we obviously knew they had them why wait till they used them to react? Oh...momentarily forgot that we don't have a real Press anymore.

also ducking all the scandals, it takes the media’s eye off them, and there are so many of them.

Grass Fire Email alert: left off the request for funding.

GRASSFIRE ALERT:

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted 10-7 this afternoon to approve a resolution authorizing President Obama to use military force against Syria in response to President Bashar Assad’s suspected chemical-weapons attack on civilians last month.

But the rushed vote reportedly broke Senate rules for moving legislation through the committee process. According to The Daily Beast, a senior GOP Senate aide called it “a rush to war behind closed doors,” adding:

“We were told there was a need to have a thoughtful and public debate about how this nation goes to war, but this seems to be about simply getting a resolution done to cover the President.”

Today’s actions allow for a vote by the full Senate as soon as Wednesday and enable the Democrat-controlled “upper chamber” to pass a war resolution before the House can write and pass one of its own.

Moments after the vote, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East, told FOX News that when Representatives return to Capitol Hill next week, Obama’s plan will likely by-pass committee and move directly to the chamber floor for a vote.

+ + Should Congress Back Obama On Syria?

Congress’ month-long summer recess ends in just five days — with a full Syria vote expected almost immediately. That gives grassroots Americans less than a week to make their voices heard!

From the Rose Garden on Saturday, President Obama said, “While I believe I have the authority to carry out this military action without specific congressional authorization ... I’m asking Congress to send a message to the world that we are ready to move forward together as one nation.”

But our “Radical-in-Chief” has it wrong ... again. According to Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 of the U.S. Constitution, “Congress shall have the power ... to declare war.”

That’s why grassroots Americans must act now! It’s liberty-loving Americans who need to send a message to Congress about backing Obama’s plan. Tell your Senators and Representative what you think about authorizing the President to launch a military strike against Syria.

+ + Make Your Voice Heard On Capitol Hill!

Yesterday, Grassfire launched a Syria quick poll to empower our team members and their fellow patriots to make their voices heard. In just 24 hours, more than 28,000 of you have responded — with 97 percent voting “No!” on granting Obama authority to conduct military operations in Syria.

Grassfire will deliver the quick-poll results to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) next week, prior to any vote. You can use the time remaining to expand the impact of your “vote” by faxing your two Tennessee Senators, Representative and other key lawmakers.

BTW cry baby only uses a answering machine which is ALWAYS FULL! He does not want to hear from us SERFS.

I honestly wonder sometimes if this red line saga isn’t an attempt to undermine Israel. Netanyahu specifically set his concerning Iran’s nuclear program. They are not far from that benchmark. By the time Zero is done with this debacle, the general reaction to WMD red lines will be negative and leave Israel isolated.

Obama Warns Syria Not To Cross 'RED LINE'

August 21, 2012

(CNN) -- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad should heed U.S. warnings to neither use nor move chemical or biological weapons, lest he risk crossing a "red line" and provoke a U.S. military response, President Barack Obama said Monday.

"We cannot have a situation where chemical or biological weapons are falling into the hands of the wrong people," Obama told reporters at the White House. "We have been very clear to the Assad regime -- but also to other players on the ground -- that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized.

"That would change my calculus; that would change my equation."

"We have communicated in no uncertain terms with every player in the region that that's a red line for us and that there would be enormous consequences if we start seeing movement on the chemical weapons front or the use of chemical weapons."
