I just a few minutes ago sent Senator Cornyn an email urging him to vote no to any legislation concerning a strike in Syria. I included in my email an excerpt from Peggy Noonan’s today’s article in the WSJ. I think Peggy captures most Americans feelings with this paragraph.
“What are the American people thinking? Probably some variation of: Wrong time, wrong place, wrong plan, wrong man.”
I did not feel it would be necessary to msg my other senator; Ted Cruz :)
I liked the quote by Mark Steyn: “In the middle east, the enemy of our enemy is our enemy”
Pretty much sums it up.
Senator Inhofe, Senator Coburn, and Representative Tom Cole. All Republicans from Oklahoma. Already know how they will vote.
What about your representative in the House? Contact him/her yet? The Senate is probably lost. It’s the House vote that matters.
