Considering how few are buying this line of BS, it isn't exactly "common."

Common sense? Since when has common sense been associated with the Obunghole administration? Were supposed to go to war because Obunghole shot his mouth off a year ago about red lines in Middle Eastern sand?
I don’t think so!
I want evidence; do we have concrete intel on who did this, and why? Terrorists killing terrorists, why should I care how they chose to off each other? I want to know how this affects the United States. Are we worried that some third world shit-hole country of barbarians will use these weapons against American troops; if they did they would be shown the great white light pretty damn quick according to standing US policy for the last 50 years. Of course under the Obastard administration we would probably be asked to just suck it up until the Holder Department of Injustice finished it’s 500 year investigation, then it’s civil prosecution in Damascus, Syria.

Common sense argues cui bono? - who gains? The only ones to gain are the rebels, who get to gain the USAF as the A-Qeda air force.

If we are going to use a “Common Sense” test, that test favors Assad not Obama. Why would Assad use WMDs when he is winning and he knows that Obama, Saudi Arabia and Turkey are just itching for an excuse to intervene? More likely, Obama and his Islamist allies are trying to frame Assad and to set up for the attack. Much like Clinton made lurid claims of Serbian war crimes in Kosovo with many mass graves and tens of thousands of dead. The truth trickled out years later that the graves and casualties were far far less. (However, the Clinton sinknator is still beloved by too many today, so the technique can work).

Common sense tells us that Prez Barry got his job because he is black, can sometimes read a teleprompter and had a leftist ghostwriter for his memoirs.

Just reading the comments on this thread, you’d get a better leader of the free world and a whole lot more common sense by just closing your eyes and picking any freeper.

How did a country with all these sensible. Smart people in it get controlled by evil dufusses?

I have to hand it to them as propagansits for evil. They take every legitimate phrase that can be used against them and, with their bully pulpit, turn it around against the people.

What unmitigated Bravo Sierra!

You mean like the common sense that would call for Assad openly and blatantly using chemical weapons against his own people, in his own capitol when a UN chemical weapons inspection team was I the capitol just a few miles away?

Or the common sense that Assad would use the chemical weapons at a time when he was getting the upper hand over the rebels and risk doing the very thing he knew would push the US to attacking him when he was winning?

Or the kind of common sense that would have him play directly into the hands of the Islamic rebels whom he was beating when they themselves have made videos of their own use of the same weapons?

Are all of those kinds of common sense what you're talking about?

No, any sane, rational person, looking at this with the least degree of objectivity will use their own "common sense" to tell them that the Obama administration, just like they were with the Benghazi travesty, are abject, pathological liars.

Again, and again, and again, and again.

Representative Brown had it right.

Representative Joe Wilson had it right from the start

Common sense says what happens in a rat-hole desert on the other side of the planet is none of our business, and definitely not among the duties of the feral government.

Sure, let's talk common sense, oh masterful White House. What would the Syrian government get out of gassing a rebel population IN A MAJOR URBAN AREA? This isn't an isolated village, this is a major urban area. There will be plenty of cameras to catch events, the natural danger of committing any operation in rebel territory, and well, let's be honest, all that has ever been shown in the way of victims were noncombatants.

So, common sense: Which narrative makes sense: The Assad government, which has been having a large number of successes in recent history suddenly decides to commit a chemical weapon attack against a noncombatant population in rebel territory for no determinable gain, and every risk of an international response to the attack.

Or the rebels gassing the extra mouths to feed, trading the lives of that population for one of the most expansive, and in the view of some, terrifying military in the world, with the minimum gain being a massive aerial attack against the Assad government.

Common sense says that the White House has none.

This is novelty. Going to war without evidence of a reason to go to war.

To date, Obama’s delusional lies explain why for me personally, I cannot support this Syria debacle. The way Obama handled Ben Ghazi is despicable. Obama lied to us and the world for weeks on end about the video and then went so far as to arrest and put in jail that poor Coptic Christian. Worst of all he refused to rescue our Ambassador, a State Department worker and two former Navy SEALs. There is no way I trust him with Syria.

Newsflash! The State Department declares Obama responsible for the IRS scandal:
"We ultimately, of course, hold President Assad Obama responsible for the use of chemical weapons the IRS by his regime against his own people, regardless of where the command and control lies," Harf said.

Riiiight...

Colin Powell also gave a presentation to the United Nations regarding Saddam Hussein's WMD program, including satellite photos of mobile laboratory trucks. The "common sense test" would have been that Hussein had a WMD program, but the Democrats, led by Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, chose to believe the dual-use explanations over Bush's.

So now we're supposed to believe Kerry's "common sense" the other way, with no questions asked?

OKay, we’ll apply the same test to stuff happening in this country.
Chem plant explosion?
Zero.
Rim fires in Yosemite?
Zero.
Rapes and murders in DC?
Zero.
It’s all his fault, we have an urgent need to invade!
See!
See!
There’s hundreds of videos on youtube showing the fires and crimes!

/ end idiotic example.

It really is theater of the absurd in DC at the moment.

Judging from what this administrations ‘Common Sense’ has done for us to date, I’d say we have much to be concerned about with regard to Syria.
