GOP SEN. CORKER: 'HUMILIATING' US ISN'T GIVING MORE AID TO AL-QAEDA

The rebel forces aligned against Syrian strong-man Bashar Assad are dominated by jihadists and fighters aligned with al-Qaeda. In April, the Obama Administration promised to help arm the rebel forces, but, realizing the very real complications on the ground, that promise has been muted. As the Administration strives to ensure that US arms only go to moderates fighting Assad, GOP Senator Bob Corker openly blasted the Administration for its frugality in suppling arms to jihadis.

“It was humiliating,” Corker said in an interview with The Washington Post following a recent trip to the Syrian border. “The president had announced that we would be providing lethal aid, and not a drop of it had begun. They were very short on ammunition, and the weapons had not begun to flow.”

This reads like satire. We’re helping the throat cutting hyenas.

Washington is beyond repair.

corker is a fence sitter, his earlier statements are nonsense. Neither yes or no. Just nothing.

give him an ear full! Remind him of the French riots and that this will set not only the ME on fire but the rest of Europe, and the US, only good thing about being in the USA is WE SHOOT BACK! We are not disarmed like socialized Europe is. Maybe that is the real reason for the rush to disarm legal gun owners?

It amazes me that conservative Tennessee has this clown representing them as a republican. And conservative South Carolina with Lindsay Graham.

Whatever the conservative vetting process is, it really needs to be retooled.

Corker and McCain are perfectly able to resign and move to Syria and pick up AK-47’s and join the rebels with their personal fortunes.

I guess he’s already spent the check from the Saudis. He’s got no wiggle room.

I guess those Rolex-wearing twittering jihadis that Corker fawned over didn’t invite Corker to a public execution

nor did they serve “liver” for dinner

We the People are so humilated that we have USG, which is so confused. Whether it be deception or outright lawlessness, current USG is all in.

We the People are so humilated that we have USG, which is so confused.

I don't feel embarrassed any more, for there are only two possible explanations:

1) The American people have reached such a level of stupidity that they are incapable of electing representatives any better than they are (and I doubt this explanation is entirely true, given the recent results in the relatively unmolested recall elections in Colorado...)

or...

2) The New World Order (for lack of a better term) makes sure that no one gets anywhere near a senior US political office without being owned, ownable, or at least compromisable when it becomes necessary. And they'll manufacture whatever voting results are necessary to make sure of it.

When you hear, say, Ted Cruz, a few years from now, take some inexplicable position on an issue that completely contradicts his history as a US Senator - you'll know. I never though Coburn was on the team, either, but they've apparently got something on him.

Therefore, I no longer feel embarrassed nor do I lose sleep over political campaigns or which party holds what office. The policies never vary much. Had the NWO decided to let the November, 2012 turn out differently, we would now be treated to the spectacle of Mitt Romney arguing for an attack in Syria and all the Republicans lining up behind him, with the Democrats adopting their more traditional role as faux opposition. But the Dems wanted to keep the Play Kingship this time, so now they are the ones who have to repeat the militaristic slogans they don't really believe to keep the Saudi cash flowing.
