If true, the NSA should have this recorded somewhere.

The captors claimed that the recent chemical attack in Syria was orchestrated by the rebels to draw Western countries low information voters into the fight against the Assad regime.

Of course not.
Attacking the Rebels won’t give the country to the Moslem Brotherhood or get the natural gas pipeline built through Syria.

no red line for rebels

Assad calls them "terrorists."
The meme on every side, including the anti-attack crowd is that they're all the same; let them kill each other, both equally evil, etc. That may be true and sorry to belabor the point that's been made ten thousand times, but Assad and his recent ancestors have protected the Christian minorities while the noble opposition can't take control of an area fast enough to begin harassing and murdering them.

Since this is common knowledge, we can only assume the president is aware of this and acting, not in spite, but because of it.

I’m pretty sure he denied fault but then sort of admitted he had chemical weapons but now is saying he’ll give them up when Israel gives up her nukes.

No, he has just admitted he has chemical weapons (probably courtesy of Saddam). As far as I know, he hasn't admitted using them.

So funny - I can here his voice in my head! And when I do, I sit up a little bit straighter.

No, Assad only admitted to having chemicals which everyone already knew.

Everyone knows it was the rebels which is why no one is on barry’s side in this. France is kissing up to him but when it comes to push and shove, they’ll make a hasty retreat.
