I assume, that with this, doctor-patient confidentiality is now a thing of the past. ‘Your’ doctor is now an agent of the Government. How soon before they do the same thing with other professionals, such as lawyers and accountants?

My mom was telling me about a cashier asking for her phone number and mom told her “you don’t need that” ... which is true, but it got her a couple of nasty looks from the cashier. When I have this happen, I find that saying “no thank you” is an extremely polite, kinda’ fun way to answer because it’s not what they expect. I usually get a very puzzled look, then the ‘no’ part sinks in and they proceed, but it doesn’t ruffle any feathers. I plan to use the same “no thank you “ to any intrusive questions at the doc’s office. It’s going to be like those 40-miles-inside-the-border DHS stops where folks keep repeating “am I being detained?” and “am I free to go?”. Eventually DHS gives up ... I suspect the docs will give up even faster and move to the next intrusive question.

My wife is a medical coder, so she’ll probably have code all this crap. Give long and detailed answers. Change your story on every visit. Learn to tell sea stories from any Navy vets you know. Make up fantastic stuff.

Help keep my wife working, America!

Went to the eye doc last week. Thought it strange when all I needed was a new glaucoma prescription and the doc insisted on doing an opti-rectomy. When I asked what is was he said it was to remove the connecting nerve between eyeball and rectum in order to help improve on my shitty outlook.

"Whether you're at the dermatologist or the cardiologist, you'll likely be asked: "Are you sexually active? If so, with one partner, multiple partners or same-sex partners?"

Answer: "Hey, Doc; You hitting on me?"

At least the one I go to is sort of a 'prepper' type himself, and if he asks me if I have guns, it will be be because he is wondering if I have anything available for sale that he might want to buy.

I never went for my government checkup for Medicare, after a friend told me about the nosy questions. That was less than three years ago. My answer to those type questions is a very polite but curt "that's personal" when it's none of their damn business.

Just under four years ago, I got caught up in a quarantine for a disease it turns out I didn't have. The hospital made it very difficult to get out, even when it was established I had something else. The experience makes me wonder if I'd go to a hospital again if there's a quarantine situation that can be used to incarcerate people against their will.

The IRS has already demonstrated a willingness to leak confidential to help Democrats in elections. When the IRS has ALL of our medical and financial information, it will be leaked and Republicans will be afraid to show their face, let alone challenge a Democrat in an election. And with the help of the NSA, every website visited by a Republican will be public information. ObamaCare is NOT about healthcare-it’s all about political power and destruction of the two party system.

If you don't give any info to your doctor, will the IRS or HHS progress to enhanced interrogations? I would not put waterboarding past the 0bama regime when it comes to U.S. citizens.

Sorry, that's just the way it is.
