WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. police and the FBI say there's a report of a shooter inside a military building at the Washington Navy Yard.
Police are responding to reports of shots fired, and an FBI spokeswoman says there's at least one victim.

He just told me they closed the gates and they were to shelter in place a while back. No mention of shooting or other activity. Taking precautions?
They just suspended my twitter account due to two replies for verification to reporters on the scene and two requests to regular folks pushing gun crap and joking. My replies were, can we see if the people are okay before getting political.

The internal report was sent out to law enforcement officials at 9:22 a.m. by the Intelligence Watch and Warning cell inside the National Operations Center (NOC) — a DHS group that operates as the “hub for domestic incident management, operations coordination, and situational awareness.”
