Speculation: Did the contractor who employed Alexis lose a contract with the Navy, perhaps causing Alexis to be laid off?

A friend said Alexis loved Buddhism.

“He loved to go to temple, go to meditate in Thai and English,” the friend said. “He could do both of them.”

Hmmm......something doesn’t add up here folks. Why would a meditating Buddhist go on a rampage?
