The president’s harried, serial about-faces on Syria — coupled with the collapse of Larry Summers's candidacy for chairmanship of the Federal Reserve — have combined to highlight some enduring limitations of Obama’s approach to decision-making, public persuasion and political management.
Across the capital, anxious friends and chortling enemies alike are asking: What’s wrong with Obama?

There is nothing wrong with Obama that wasn’t obviously wrong with him in 2008, and visible to anyone willing to take an honest look.
All of his supporters and enablers and race-baiting ideologic water carriers in the political world, in academia, in the media, in the financial world, on the street and in our neighborhoods deliberately turned a blind eye in 2008, and for the five years since.
Now all of a sudden, they are shocked at what they see, and even now deny their own responsibility for inflicting him on us to destroy our beloved country. It isn’t their fault. He was wonderful in every way.
It’s just that he changed somehow.
Right.
And even now, they presume to look down their sanctimonious noses at those of us who saw the truth and tried to stop what was happening. They call us names, they say we lack intelligence, all the while insulting that very intelligence that we exercised while they exercised nothing but willfully blind denial about the man they were supporting.
Every person who supported Obama in any way needs to sit down and shut up and repent for the damage the have inflicted on our formerly great nation. They can do that by sparing us any further exposure to their mean-spirited and delusional political opinions.
Let them sit out future elections altogether, recognizing that they have failed to demonstrate the moral and intellectual integrity that is the responsibility of every voter.
It really is. I thought that nauseating hero worship of Obama had died out by the time the 2010 midterms were finished.

The best way to fix a broken system is to SHUT IT DOWN, and THEN fix it.

Why not have the true Republicans require a BINDING, updated, “Federal Financial Impact Statement” for 2012-2013 fiscal year, and 2013-2014 f. y. for Obama”care?”
It should take a month or two to complete, allow for a vote to delay Obama”care” for a year, and then show the great financial harm to our Economy that the Statement’s numbers will document.
Wharton, Stanford, Michigan and Princeton could also file their independent Financial Impact Statements to compare to the Office of Budget and the Congressional Budget Office Financial Impact Statements.
As B. Hussein is fond of saying: “We need to get all the facts first.”
