President Barack Obama is reportedly trying to "establish an early narrative" to blame Republicans in case of a government shutdown or another financial crisis. However, Obama also said he would not negotiate with Republicans on raising the debt ceiling.
As The Hill noted, Obama is "targeting" House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) in an attempt to try and divide and conquer Republicans and insulate himself from potential criticism and blame. Though Obama's job approval rating is only at 47%, The Hill noted that a recent Economist/YouGov poll found that Congress's is at 11%.
On Wednesday, Obama said Boehner seeks to "fundamentally change how American government functions" as Boehner set a House vote on Friday for a short-term resolution to fund the government except for Obamacare, Obama's signature legislation. Congress and Obama must agree to a short-term resolution to fund the government before the current continuing resolution expires on September 30. The House's resolution would fund the government until December 15.

Of course this is the plan for 2014. There must be a shut down. By hook or by crook, Obama (that is who ultimately will do the deed. Congress is following the will of the people who voted for them) must shut down the Federal government.
I’d be thrilled if the GOP shut it down.
But the fact of the matter is that it is the democrats threatening to shut it down, because they intend to force us to buy the things they exempted themselves and their cronies from.

Really, Clinton could be negotiated with. Rumors around Hillary’s new book point to Obama being a heavy drinker. That would explain some of the really odd things I’ve seen him do, his sluggish and odd way of speaking. But he hates us (Sally Field voice) he really, really hates us.

The FACT of the matter is that no one in their right mind who WORKS for a living wants Obaqmacare, and we CANNOT afford it (or MOST of the handouts that Democrats have put in place to buy their voterbase's loyalty for parasitic existence).
