How can you say that when the most prominent and honored Catholics in America are pro-abort democrat party leaders?
When the Kennedys receive the full pomp and ceremony of the Catholic church on their deaths, and Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden meets with their Pope and take communion at the Vatican, don't you think it rings false to claim that voting democrat is a no-no for Catholics?

You are correct. It’s a public scandal, and Rome has done nothing about it(and with the current Pope, likely won’t for a long time). But it doesn’t mean that the Church’s official teaching supports the Democrats. The Catholic Church isn’t just the reigning Pope, or the local Bishop. It’s a belief that goes back 2,000 years. If the present hierarchy is unfaithful to the patrimony that was handed down to them, it doesn’t invalidate the Faith itself. Judas betrayed Christ. Peter denied Him. But they were both Apostles.
Yep and show me a Cardinal, or whatever they call themselves nowdays, that isn`t fawning over filthy Democrat politicians at various celebrity dinners
