Fox followed this report with the news that the Cleveland Clinic is making $330 million in budget cuts, due to Obamacare, or really, Obama's Risky Communist Medical Scheme™ (RCMS).
I’m seeing a lot of defeatism in some comments. Defeatism never won a war.
We should keep in mind that this is a DIRECT result of pressure from the American people, and we need to keep it up. We can defeat this.
But not by whining about how we can’t win.
Thanks for your list of senators - this will add a little more pressure to the Dims who think we aren’t paying attention. My senators have heard from me and now I’m starting on the rest of them.
Why does everyone act like the Senate is the end-all be-all? It isn’t. The House has the power of the purse. All they have to do is to continue to exercise that power. It doesn’t matter what those dipshits in the Senate do or don’t do on this one. Of course, this will require the leadership and others to have the testicular fortitude to keep up the fight and not cave on the shut down.
The constitutions balance of powers were set up for reasons just like this. The Senate doesn’t get to be the all powerful arm of the government.

Hospitals/medical facilities all over the country are cutting tens-of-thousands-plus of medical personnel (almost wrote workers...), closing down wings, cutting services etc, in preparation for this 0bummerCare debacle. I’ve been hearing the pitiful news reports all week.

THANK YOU DEMS!!! If your Senators, lead by Reid, would have passed a budget over the last couple of years,,the CRs would not be in place and we would not be having this discussion nor this opportunity.
