Actually, I think this is close to the truth. There were naysayers prior to the revolution, colonists loyal to the King. I see their relatives are busy mumbling and bowing to tyranny yet again.
You are right, but to add specificity to it, I think it was something along the lines of 25-30% of the populace supported the Revolution, 25-30% supported the king and almost 40% of the people simply didn’t care enough to think about making a decision.
