Administrators at the University of Kansas have suspended the journalism professor who suggested on Monday he would like to see the murder of the children of National Rifle Association (NRA) members.

KU's chancellor, Bernadette Gray-Little, announced the suspension Friday morning, according to a local radio station, KMBZ.

"In order to prevent disruptions to the learning environment for students, the School of Journalism and the university, I have directed Provost Jeffrey Vitter to place Associate Professor Guth on indefinite administrative leave pending a review of the entire situation,” he said.

“Professor Guth’s classes will be taught by other faculty members," he added.

And on Thursday the school released a statement condemning Guth's tweet.

Y'all got it all wrong, the school didn't get on him for his anti-gun rant. When he tweeted "Shame on you. May God damn you.", he used that "G**" word, now that is utterly offensive to school administrators!

“No, apparently an associate professor looking for tenure. I don’t think this will help. Whatever the committee thinks within itself it does NOT help to give the U a public black eye in the sight of donors.”

Anyone who is stupid enough to make such a public statement while hoping to achieve tenure... probably is not going to achieve it.

Looks like there’s a new game afoot in the publicly funded collegiate Marxist indoctrination factories:

1. Obtain tenure.

2. Keep saying more and more outrageous things until the administration is forced to deal with you.

3. Sue for millions because you “academic freedom” has been violated.

He needs to be fired—without any pension or golden parachute.

he is a disgrace to Kansas.

Matt Dillon & Gunsmoke would have run him out of town permanetly.

“Outrageous that these Liberals speak and act like this! This guy needs to be fired! No suspended as on a paid vacation — FIRED!”

Yeah no kidding.

But let little Timmy draw a stick figure holding a gun or God forbid points his finger and says “bang” and he gets expelled from school.

Fine, suspend him.

Then toss him in prison and throw away the key.
