After Mondays shootings at the Washington Navy Yard in Southeast D.C., District Mayor Vincent Gray is calling for members of Congress to enact stronger federal gun control laws. .... Stuck on stupid.
Attacking the wrong problem.
The U.S. is third in murders throughout the world. If you remove Chicago, Washington, D.C., New Orleans and Detroit then the U.S. is fourth from the bottom. These are four cities with the toughest gun laws in the nation and, of course, these are four cities ruled by Democrats.

Here in Michigan where weve got open carry, crime is going down along with the number of police. Come to think of it, can anyone remember the last time we had a mass shooting in Michigan?Aren't dozens or hundreds of individual shootings just as bad?
Isn't Detroit still in Michigan?

Sensible ... and gun control in the same sentence. Now that’s funny. At what point do these people suspend their common sense and think criminals will magically decide to obey these laws while preparing to break others?

Crime is down in Michigan at the same time gun ownership is up.
Yes there are a lot of shootings in Detroit but Detroit leads the nation in justifiable homicide (defensive shootings)

Your gun control is what killed many of those people. Let our troops be armed !

Someone should tell the Mayor that what DC really needs is thug control.
Oh crap, DAT’S RACISS!

We do need sensible gun control, and that is what range time is for: trigger control, breath control, sight picture, and follow through are the four crucial parts of sensible gun control.

I believe the stats show that it would be safer to have Black-free zones than gun-free zones.
Just saying.

What we need Mr Governor is sensible access to mental health treatment.

There is nothing sensible about banning firearms, about creating gun free zones. Time and again the disarmed citizen is butchered by a criminal who breaks any and all [ineffectual] gun laws at will.
