I'm not sure I see your point. Are there not times when saying "A Bible" is correct? Example:
"There's a Bible on the bookshelf, and another on the table".

Yeesh. I'm not a Christian or a Muslim, but at least I can tell which group's adherents are more likely to want to kill me for not believing in their faith. All I have to do as look at the actions of the terrorists in Kenya ("Are you a Muslim? No? Die!")
Whether or not people believe the Bible is God’s word it is clear that the world would be a MUCH better place if people lived by the 10 commandments and the teachings in the New Testament.

The Bible is always capitalized, but when merely referencing an authoritative, widely accepted publication as "the bible" of (whatever) it's not capitalized.

Scripture is God-breathed. Lord Jesus appealed to it—”Have you not read...?”—as authoritative, even though He IS the Word made flesh. So did his apostles.
