Take a look around FR. Not too far from the truth for some. They allow their dislike for our current president to translate into some kind of adoration for Putin.

You think Putin gives a s$&t about American citizens? What he does he does to gain political leverage back at home and in global affairs.

Some of you can be downright blind to that.

The enemy of your enemy can still be your enemy.

I would have thought that Putin’s slap at American exceptionalism (an article of faith here at FR) would have blown that admiration of Putin to smithereens.

I don't think Putin 'cares' about American citizens.

But I am capable of acknowledging it when my 'enemy' is correct.

And I am capable of recognizing an immediate threat to my nation, vs. an abstract one.

At least Putin “says” that he will protect the church from Islamist terrorist. Considering that Obama is a in-your-face homosexual Muslim who hates America and never defends Christians, then who would you choose? Putin may very well be a KGB thug, but I would prefer that over what we currently have governing this country.

Oh, I agree with you. Putin is no friend of America.

You think Putin gives a s$&t about American citizens?

You think Angela Merkel does? How about the president of Bulgaria? Why should they? You think Obama does?

Putin isn’t waging war on Christians, heterosexuals, and working class/small business owners like the anti Constitution globalists of both parties.

Putin is not our friend. That said, Putin is very shrewd at picking up and using and somewhat embracing things he knew made America exceptional.

He knows that our leadership is facilitating the decline of America and in a way he is rubbing in our faces how he has learned a lesson from the old Soviet system and is now leading Russia to the top while the US is racing to the bottom, financially, morally, culturally, and militarily etc. How can we deny this is so?

Now we know that he is doing some fooling with us, but the absolute disgrace that is Obama has set this stage for Putin to preen and he is making himself the leading man in the next act.

Very sad for America. Three more years of Obama will be three years to much, I fear.
