The article doesn't actually say that. The language is slippery. See quote following: "Six children were playing in the Caraballo front yard all together, and the school suspended three it said had discharged the “firearm” near the school bus stop." Don't know what really happened, but I wouldn't put it past the school to shade the truth, especially when challenged publicly.
