Now reading from a WSJ article and commenting on it. Excellent!

...”The Club warned Tuesday that any senator who supports the motion could be a target in future elections”...

Isn’t that one of Soros’s babies?
Of course he’s all in the game for One Payer Insurance...

Every US Senator who isn’t standing with Sen. Cruz should be ashamed, and every voter who has a senator who isn’t standing with Sen. Cruz should be ashamed of them.

“Thank you for your part in giving us Sen Cruz..”

You wrote that to JRandomFreeper, but someone had to bring Cruz to the forefront, and that was Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, who employed Cruz to help him fight the Washington Democrat Government. Abbott could see the brilliance in Cruz, so we thank Abbott for his choice of Cruz to start him on his grand career for Texas.

Abbott is now running for Texas Governor. Abbott running Texas and Cruz running Washington, is two men who will never give up giving us better government. “Remember the Alamo” is ingrained in their hearts.

You know, I cannot help but believe that the dems,as they constructed this behemoth, that they did know it would destroy jobs, increase unemployment, and decrease access to health care, as well as increase costs to people who pay their, and their family's premiums, will have perpetually increasing costs to pay for those who do not, or cannot, pay their own premiums.

This raises a question for me. Knowing that the Baucus train wreck from this runaway train was barreling down the track to unbelievable destruction, they dems did not flinch. The cramed it down our throat, voting in the pitch of night.

Therefore I must conclude that this is phase 1 of their move to complete socialism ( communism). I think we need to be thinking of their phase 2. To move form this to single payor is not what I have in mind. We got a small taste during the Subprime Credit Default debacle. No, they have something much more nefarious in mind. The deems will not be intimidated by a few million people being denied health care or enslaving the younger generation to perpetual indentured servitude to the Federal Government. I hesitate to use the term 'federal', because all of the 'goverance is coming from the Oval office and the left and right on capitol hill. We are rapidly reaching a tipping point which will not play out in a civil manner. My thoughts take me to a horrifying place. But logic and reason will not allow me to conclude otherwise.

Coming to you from sunny, cheerful East Texas.

Serenity Now! Serenity Now!

I don’t disagree with you that the liberal GOP wing has sold us down the river. That is on a 30,000 foot strategic level.

On a tactical level though, we’ve made a mistake in 2010 and 2012 in not accepting some RINO types who likely would have allowed for a GOP Senate majority, even if it was only 51-49.

Deciding to dump Mike Castle, Richard Lugar, etc and running Angle, O’Donnell, Mourdock, Todd Akin, etc doesn’t look so smart at the moment. A 51-49 Senate doesn’t necessarily beat Obamacare, but gives us a lot more leverage.

“By BURGESS EVERETT | 9/24/13 5:36 PM EDT Updated: 9/24/13 7:10 PM EDT

Rand Paul is standing with Ted Cruz.

The Kentucky GOP senator will oppose a vote to end debate later this week on a House-passed spending bill, which includes a provision defunding Obamacare, a spokeswoman said. Cruz (R-Texas) is urging Republican senators to halt the bill procedurally later this week to prevent Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) from removing the Obamacare provision and pushing a clean spending bill back to the House this weekend...”

Well, at least he’s doing this much...

Pretty crummy speech he gave today though.

I’m ashamed of the two senators from my state — Mark Kirk and Dick “sack of” Durbin! One’s a nanny state statist and the other is an outright socialist asshole.

The key is to allow amendments.

If they vote for cloture there will be no amendments period. Paul has been saying for weeks that they can not defund ObamaCare, totally overlooking the fact that they can't fund it either if the house says no.

“Abbott is now running for Texas Governor. Abbott running Texas and Cruz running Washington, is two men who will never give up giving us better government. “Remember the Alamo” is ingrained in their hearts.”

I wish we could get Abbott in the Senate, maybe Paulken (sp?) for gov and keep Ted in the Senate. There is a lot of conservative depth in Texas, thank God! Can’t wait to see who takes Cornyn’s place. Cornyn might be considered a conservative if he were in NJ,,but in Texas he’s TOAST!
