A number of Sen. Ted Cruz's colleagues on Tuesday expressed frustration at the Texas Republican's tactics in the fight over ObamaCare and government funding.
As Cruz prepared to speak for hours on the Senate floor to try to delay work on the government-funding measure, many fellow GOP senators exited a conference meeting said they thought his strategy would backfire on their party.

Well put. And I agree with that. But the article states, perhaps incorrectly, that "Cruz prepared to speak for hours on the Senate floor to try to delay work on the government-funding measure ...
I suspect that Cruz is not really trying to delay a vote. He is, instead, getting his voice heard about the damage that Obamacare will bring to the American people. He has accomplished that. Once that is done there is no reason to delay the vote that I can see.
So I think the article is wrong and your analysis is correct.
You are missing the fact, the reality, that Cloture is in effect a vote to fund Obamacare.
These RIONO’s that vote for Cloture will claim they did not vote for Obamacare when in effect they did.
They are a lying pack of scum.
YOU REPUGNANTS DO NOT KNOW FRUSTRATION... BUT YOU WILL KNOW UNEMPLOYMENT SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“I went through that in ‘95. We had both houses of Congress, we balance the budget, I think three years in a row, and we just turned the country over to Democrats,” said Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah).”
Exhibit A: This is your brain on senility.
‘The bent on’ and quislings like you changing the definition of what we call things and how we account for them IS NOT BALANCING THE BUDGET. This is just another example of the modern RINO in his natural habitat -Delusionville!
Outstanding!
I’d say that 90 percent of the folks elected as Republicans are fake and phony and if Inhofe won’t support Cruz I’d say it proves my point and certifies the senator as a RINO.
Inhofe called Sean yesterday and is 100% behind Ted Cruz!
Wastin’ away again in Mitch McConnellville
Searchin’ for that lost yard of guts.
Some people say that Ted Cruz is to blame,
And I say, it’s the RINOs’ fault.
“Inhofe will vote for cloture which is a vote for Harry Reid and ObamaCare.”
Imhofe was there w Cruz last night and was just there now - will be back at 9 he said.
Roberts from Kansas was just on, Rand Paul on now.

The climate change hoax threatens the energy industry of Oklahoma so Inhofe was forced to open his mouth and take a stand. They have what politicians need lot$ of.
Senator Lyndon Johnson of Texas was liberal on everything save the oil industry which he took care of so they would support him at election time.
I’m watching it now and saw Inhofe. Let’s see how he votes on cloture.
I agree.
I’m in fact not 100% on Cruz’ side on this, we are far too much in the fault-finding and not enough on raising our own plan in opposition.
But he’s making a very valid point. And he’s getting massive publicity.
I like he’s taken such a public stand.
He said no on Hannity yesterday.
Cruz is stopping “BUSINESS AS USUAL” and GOD bless him for it!
We will never let them forget it!
>>> Within Senate GOP, frustration with Cruz
Within their constituents, frustration with eGOP
(fixed the headline)
If these clowns think tea party movement resulted in 2010 ended as media hyped, they are dead wrong.
Has he had the guts to stand up at the podium for 24 hours to fight for his cause? If he doesn't back Cruz on this, then he is contemptible.
Since obama was elected and repubicans retook the House... how many budgets has the House sent to the Senate to see them all just die? We offer alternatives but reid just puts a knife through the heart of the legislation.
Symbolism
The Cruz crusade symbolizes the will of the people to abolish Obamacare
