The 3rd hour is spliced-up stuff from the first and second hours with sometimes even stuff from previous days thrown in. Much like you might try to doll up Thanksgiving leftovers on the fourth or fifth day. Before he was on Cumulus , it was even worse, with these weird canned interviews, usually with regulars like Peter Breggin. It was one of top complaints people had about his show. On really bad days, her cut out after 1 1/2 hours. I have my theories what might have been going on, but will leave it at that.
I will miss the show tonight because I had to be in Seattle this eve but knew I could count on Freepers to fill me in
Isn’t it funny how every to show host swears up and down that they are never influenced by corporate pressure to change content of the show and some even claim that they aren’t influenced by listener feedback. Earlier this summer I remember Savage saying things like that where the Zimmerman case was concerned and so on. Then there was that strange period where he was having listeners call in confessing their secrets and all that stuff.
Right now Savage tape delay is on in Boston from 10p - 1a so I don't see why they can't continue with him at 10pm. Jerry Doyle tape delay had that 10-1 time slot until a couple of weeks ago.
