Hannity’s Had It: ..... (Savage Replaces Karl Rove's Co-Host)
Mediaite ^ | 9-25-2013 | Noah Rothman

Posted on 09/25/2013 7:13:51 PM PDT by fishtank

Sources close to conservative television and radio host Sean Hannity tell Mediaite that last night’s “prediction” by conservative radio host Michael Savage — that he would be inheriting Hannity’s broadcast slot on Cumulus-owned stations in the coming weeks — comes two weeks too late. Sources say that Hannity wants out of his contract with Cumulus and, in particular, his professional relationship with Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey. In fact, he made the decision to move on some time ago.

Heh, I just drove my trash up to the pickup point and Savage was on the radio.
Wow. No way could I take that grating fellow for more than 2 minutes.

Here's my question. Why is that idiot Rove all over Fox? Does Hannity and the rest of them just continually invite Rove to be on their shows?

Or does Fox have some sort of behind-the-scenes rule that requires Rove to be on those shows?

No matter. I have my own Rove rule. The instant that Rove appears, I switch over to an on-demand episode of Duck Dynasty. Hopefully one day Uncle Si will run into Karl Rove and kick his ass.

He also had Senator “Chuckie” Schumer on his show during the Dubai Ports controversy and absolutely fawned over him.

I don’t mind Hannity, but I hate his guests and almost every single person he talks to.

That being said, I will never listen to Savage for any reason on any subject.

What a rude, arrogant, insane, psychopath jerk he is.

Cheap shot at Giuliani.....certainly Rudy doesn’t live a totally conservative lifestyle, but he governs by the Constitution and the rule of law thereby allowing US to live totally conservative lifestyles......really a gratuitious slap here....

Aw, don’t sugar coat it, what do you really think of Savage. Just kidding, I tried listening to him twice but the migraine and blood coming from my ears stopped that pretty quick.

Sorry, but that’s just stupid. I would rather that someone with the sheer competence of Giuliani was President right now than the empty suit we have.

I’m not sure if it was Mark Levin or if I heard it someplace else - anyway, whoever it was - said the stations have bookers - so that sounds to me like Hannity and others have to take the guests that are booked on their shows. On Fox they call them Fox contributors - which means they are under contract with Fox - much the same as Sarah Palin is. It is my guess that Tokyo Rove is one of their favorite contributors - as is or was Juan Williams - who I could never stand to listen to. Haven’t heard much from him lately. Sean is probably just being a nice host to whoever is booked on his show.

TV talk shows, morning shows and radio shows all have bookers who find out what guests are available from agents and choose from them. Agents try to get their clients on these shows because that is how they get paid.

I will let others debate the conservatism of Giuliani. But I will say this. His actions on 9/11 were nothing short of heroic.

He was not in some command bunker somewhere. He led from the very front. God bless him. He will always have my deep admiration and respect for that.

I am sure he takes his morning constitutionals very seriously.

He is still a New York liberal and I wouldn’t vote for his poop.
