I thin it’s ‘politics’: it’s a compromise from shutting it down, and it’s something the Dems will find hard to oppose. Depending on the details it may be good policy or bad.

Are the Dims not also meeting in “Secret”? Where’s San Fran Nan? Now that she doesn’t have access to her special plane, is it not probable that she stayed in DC this weekend? I suspect she’s there and is whipping up her troops.
