Why would the Republicans be looking to delay? If the bill is as unpopular as we think why not let it go and everyone will remember it next year?

Yeah, also like the Tenn rep said, who wants to see the Democrats in charge of what gets shut down? No one.

I thin it’s ‘politics’: it’s a compromise from shutting it down, and it’s something the Dems will find hard to oppose. Depending on the details it may be good policy or bad.
