Not really. If, that's a big IF, repubs can get their act together and spend the next year developing and broadcasting their solutions - as simple as 'they want to do this, here's what we are going to do' - it could be a good year. There are already a few articles popping up about how there are going to be large healthcare monopolies in each state from this, increased travel time to see your doctor... etc. Lots of good stories out there that the public has yet to be exposed to re devastation by obamacare.
I think if you defund it gives dems the hammer: look what they took away from you and they can advance their mythology about how great obamacare is ...
Delay pushes entrenchment back in that sense... but the repubs have got to hit the ground running and perform like never before in the next year... selling their "vision" and you know how that always ends. sigh.
The public won't get it until it's their backside that feels the brunt of harsh reality. Until then, that's "somebody else's problem."
I think if you defund it gives dems the hammer: look what they took away from you and they can advance their mythology about how great obamacare is ...
That is why I advocate going down in flames trying to defund it, but that it goes anyway, immediately. I want as much dysfunction as possible associated with it.
Delay pushes entrenchment back in that sense...
Precisely my point. It also reduces the pain.

2014 is almost here. Delay ZeroCare a year (an epithet we should be using) and it won't matter in 2014. Then you are talking 2016. Delay it one year and you have entrenched it for three.
