I already pay more for my employer BC/BS plan in higher employee premiums, deductables and co-pays since January. This is due to Obamacare mandates on coverage. It will be worse next year. Sooner or later it no longer be partially paid by my employer.
Already got my notice that my supplement is going up in January. Also...have received 4 calls at home checking on my health....part of Obamacare.

“Do you think you’ll pay more for health insurance under Obamacare?”

No, because I do not live in the USSA. I have my own health insurance.
Have spoke to several friends and family on Medicare. The Obamacare Advisors interview them then tell them which Part B is right for them. They don’t get to see all the plans and pick. Gummit picks for you. Freedom?

My current healthcare plan will no longer be available next year. I’ll be eligible for my employer’s plan in December, which I’m told is better, but I don’t know how Obamacare will affect it.
On top of that, since dear leader has declared the government as being the sole judge of what healthcare plans are acceptable, I get the feeling that the bar will be raised more and more over the upcoming years, driving more and more healthcare plans out of the market and leaving only the expensive ones.
Putting it bluntly, we’re all screwed. It’s just a matter of time.
Yes, more than $1,000 per month and going higher still. Will likely lose the retiree coverage when the employer ends retiree health insurance coverage alogether the way IBM did. Younger employees were not offered retiree pensions of health insurance for many years. Obamacare already denies benefits for the medications needed to stay alive.
My current catastrophic only plan becomes illegal starting next year. I cannot afford an 0bama approved plan, I will have to go through the exchange to stay legal.
1. I lose my current primary doctor who I have paid cash to for the past 10 years.
2. It is looking like a good probablity I lose my hospital of choice too. Admittedly almost all hospitals here provide exceptional care due to the competition, I do believe all of that is going to change in the next 5 years. While I would not hesitate to be taken to the hospital I am going to be forced to use later at this time, a year from now...I will be scared out of my mind to go there.
3. All that said in running a few of the calculators, even with the subsidy I will be paying much, much more for healthcare than I do now with a catastrophic only plan and cash for outpatient care.
The deception I see so far is that the ‘subsidy’ portion masks the crazy high deductible and copay.
Hey we are all now doing the lord’s work, government legislating charity for the poor children. I read all about it on another thread, godly deeds done in the name of poor children. Why I feel so compassionate and waiting upon some angel to hear my prayer.
Poll: Do you think you’ll pay more for health insurance under Obamacare?

Does a shear bit in the woods??
John Roberts was correct while deciding wrongly but Obamacare effects will be as devastating as a tax increase and households will have significantly lower disposal incomes.
What disposable income?
Of course, health insurance costs will rise under Obamacare.
No matter how much governments want to ignore basic economics, the fact is that prices are set by supply and demand.
The supply of healthcare hasn’t changed, but Obamacare will increase the demand for healthcare tremendously. That always means prices will increase.
While no one talks about it, the fundamental reason healthcare costs have risen over the last 50+ years is due to Medicare, Medicaid and other ways government has increased the demand for healthcare while the supply has remained inelastic. And in spite of this, the idiots in Washington call for reducing healthcare costs without recognizing that it is they who are responsible ever increasing healthcare costs. We live in an insane world.
Yes. As part of the 110,000 IBM retirees who lost their health care plans, I am no longer part of a group purchasing insurance. Thank you zero.
