I think that's bad policy, obviously, but all you're demonstrating is that he strongly disagrees with Cuccinelli on social issues.

To be somewhat hyperbolic for convenience, he views McAuliffe as corrupt, and Cuccinelli as a bigot, so it is rather unlikely he'll drop out of the race in favor of either.
