Just can’t hardly post anything without sending traffic to your blog, huh?
Has a thread been started to check on it’s progress or lack there of.
Here’s the status for Texas:
Health Insurance Marketplace: Please wait
We have a lot of visitors on our site right now and we’re working to make your experience here better. Please wait here until we send you to the login page. Thanks for your patience!
Nothing else works with this government why should this be any different?
I say good, I hope the whole damn thing blows up in their face.
perfect!
Just tried to get on to compare costs in my state to compare with current coverage.
Could not get on. Too many visitors, yeh I believe that one.
If I read correctly, one must create an account to browse plans.
No anonymous shopping for anyone.
I’m going to wait to read it until he posts it a few more times.
Same message in GA.
The Wizard of Oz is now in control of the country. He’s throwing switches from behind the curtain. Dorothy and Toto didn’t have health insurance to cover the head bump from the tornado and still don’t have insurance. The Wicked Witch of the West is still flying around and her husband and all of the goons in the background who put him in power are causing worse problems by the day.
CT website says please visit us October 1!
What's the URL for the Texas exchange?
Yeah, bummed about that. I have health insurance through my job, but wanted to see what would be available if I retire. Not sure I want to give them my email address etc. so will likely wait to see if someone comes up with a site that gives the info without having to create an account. I’ve seen lots of details posted for other states on http://www.early-retirement.org/forums/
But the first thing it asks for is a name and email address.
I just want to determine the plans available (and the prices) for a single woman in her 20's. Is there a way to do that without creating a fake account?
Unfortunately, the timing means Democrats could blame Republicans - the website doesn’t work because of the shutdown will be their excuse.
Good analogy. Let me take it a bit further...The cowardly lion tries to be brave in front of the Wizard, but pulls his own tail and leaps through the window in tears. The Wicked Witch of the West does some sky writing with her broom “surrender anarchists” and the flying monkeys use their megaphones to drive the point home. The cowardly lion is holding his tail babbling “I do believe in spooks. I do believe in spooks!”
Not that I have been able to figure out yet, but I’m hoping to do the same (only I’m a bit past my 20s LOL). The closest I’ve gotten is where you put in age, zip code, gender, income & get an estimate of premium & subsidy:
http://kff.org/interactive/subsidy-calculator/
It’s helpful to see what the income “sweet spot” is ~ over 100% of the federal poverty level so as not to be eligible for Medicaid, but less than 400% of the FPL so as to be eligible for a subsidy.
I'd be hesitant to give out my info, even as an experiment. Afraid that next time I go to vote, I'll be told, "sorry, you've already voted" (Democrat, of course).
I'm a bit past my 20's, and a different gender. But, I'm trying to get an idea how much my daughter will have to pay.
