President Barack Obama placed blame for a government shutdown squarely with the GOP on Tuesday, labeling the cessation in government business a "Republican shutdown" that threatens to damage the economy.
"This Republican shutdown did not have to happen. But I want every American to understand why it did happen," Obama said during remarks in the Rose Garden. "They've shut down the government over an ideological crusade to deny affordable health insurance to millions of Americans."
Obama emerged half a day after a shutdown took hold following Congress' failure to authorize spending to fund the federal government's day-to-day operations past Sept. 30, resulting in furloughs for hundreds of thousands of non-essential government employers.

Unlike in 1995, people dont depend on the networks for their news, so the easy panic they could whip up in the populous over the “shutdown” simply cant be done as easy.
It isnt hard to get the info to see that nothing is crashing or blowing up, and life is going on as normal.
“Crusade” is only a naughty word when used in conjunction with the oppression and intimidation of Muslims. For any other purpose, it is a perfectly good description of aggressive and concerted behavior to root out an obviously evil influence.
But since Obamacare is an obviously evil influence that is specifically providing an exemption for Muslims (including, of course, the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut), then to refer to the effort to crush Obamacare as a “crusade” is obviously to associate the term with oppression and intimidation.
What do you call it when oppression is being oppressed, and intimidation is being intimidated?
I work with a lot of black women and the TV was on with Obama yapping. They were eating it up. Why can’t the republicans get on TV and tell the truth???

The RNC should buy a prime-time TV slot TONIGHT and dismantle Obama’s bogus assertions one by one. Get Clint Eastwood, let him proclaim Obama as the liar he is and proceed to show that the House submitted a CR that did not defund the government, only the not ready for prime time Obamacare (as evidenced by todays snafu’s). I am tired of measured and oh-so-polite responses to the dim’s games. Take the damn gloves off.

Obama only yaps to gin up his base of drones..he knows the rest of the American people who have a brain dont believe a word coming out of his lying trap, but he needs to keep his base..he is hoping for riots..that is something Obama has always wanted..riots..because to liberals, nothing is worse than losing their precious Govt..they dont pledge allegiance to the flag, they pledge allegiance to the Govt..the Govt is their God
