CYA mode???? God I wish I could take what my govt says at face value and call me paranoid but I can’t.
She probably did have mental problems, but the fact that she’s Somali is a little intriguing. She couldn’t have possibly thought that she was going to be able to attack the Capitol with her car, and she doesn’t seem to have had any weapons or explosives.
And of course, she had her child in the car. Naturally, that doesn’t matter to either a crazy person or a terrorist. I’m still voting for suicide by cop. She probably thought she was making a statement of some kind, although it’s not clear what.
Thank God the child survived. I hope there are other family members who can help out.
