Al-Hurra is a US government operated news channel. It’s the Iraqi answer to Cuba’s Radio Marti. Declared essential before the shutdown as it falls under the rubric of foreign policy.
WUSA TV, the local CBS station in DC showed a lot more of that Al Hurrah video, with audio. They were filming an elderly lady holding a cardboard sign walking toward their camera (apparently staged) when they saw the police action happening behind the woman holding the sign. They zoomed in on the action, ignoring the woman with the sign and captured the police in action. Looked to me like it was just a coincidence, they were in the right place at the right time.
