California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill Thursday granting illegal immigrants driver’s licenses, in a decision immigrant rights groups hailed as a major step forward for their movement.
The country’s largest state becomes the latest to reverse course and grant legal driving privileges to illegal immigrants.

All of the illegals were standing outside the capital demanding their drivers licenses..when I saw this I said out loud “The illegals are standing right there..HELLO..INS..where the hell are you!!”
I don't see why not.
As I understand it, no. No to air travel and no to using it for an I-9. The reason being that there is no marking to differentiate the license of a citizen from that of an illegal. If legalizing driving was the aim, then they could have made the license display words to the effect of “valid for motor vehicle operation only.”
I wonder how Californians will feel when TSA turns them away from the gate?
At least it will establish probable cause to detain them for ICE.

All you need is a boarding pass and any approved photo ID. So a Kaliphornia DL is good.
Disregard that. The article says the licenses WILL be compliant with the Real ID act. The FRN report I heard earlier today was wrong. Sorry about that.

The Democrat polititians have sold America out to foreign invaders solely for their votes. They don't give a sh!t because they have personal security and live behind gated communities. This invasion by Mexicans is turning sour for everyday Americans and won't end well. Soon, all the indoctrinated youth who thought 'one love' was so wonderful will be kicking themselves when this all comes crashing down.

Follow the rules for obtaining insurance coverage? Lower rates for all drivers and better safety? I don’t even know where to begin with the stupidity of these statements. Illegals already have established behavior of NOT following the rules by settling in my country. Next, Let’s see if everyone in California’s insurance rates go down. My bet is they will go up. And that would be because of licensed, but UNinsured illegal drivers.
Of course these fine upstanding non citizens will run right out and buy insurance, too riiiiiiight?
