That's from former President Bill Clinton in a recent MSNBC interview.
It's why Obamacare supporters and government agencies are trying everything from sports advertising to video contests to get young people in the game.
But will those millions of Millennials show up and sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act?
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
Within the next week, Obama will think the one year delay is the right thing to do....to save his a** and the party’s a**. The numbers just don’t work.
It’s hard to sell free pie.
Another step toward their dream of single payer government health care. Their risk is that Obamacare may collapse before it has completely destroyed the private insurance and health care systems.
They bought his campaign crap, why not buy his health insurance? They bought Flukes whining about free birth control, this is their opportunity to get the whole package. They can think of it as a belated campaign contribution.
The thieves have been meeting in the White Hut trying to think of a way to make health insurance payments automatically withheld from paychecks, like FICA, SS, etc.
Drip, drip, drip ...
The young are covered until the age of 26 under mom and pops insurance plan looks like the dems made a big screw up with that one.
ObamaSCARE is up in smoke.
“Wait, I don’t really need it, and I thought it was going to be free, and not only are you telling me that it’s not free, but you’re going to fine me if I don’t buy it?”
That only works if those wanting free stuff actually are employed.
Now I axe u, how many of the 47% on the system actually have a yob? Serially?
The Only way they will ever recoup any funds from them is deducting it from their Income Tax Returns. Again, only if they are working. Given that even that is just redistributed Welfare handouts the net gain to the Government is 0.
"An entire generation is being turned into a part-time workforce" because of Obamacare, said 22-year-old Patrick Richardson, a senior at the University of Toledo in Ohio who considers himself fortunate to have health insurance through his employer.
Indeed Obama&Co are in full failure mode his scare tour is just a waste of fuel and time.
they’re waiting to see what the early signup numbers look like.
Given that the numbers can be captured in real time and reported out, the fact that the Admin isn’t releasing them in the middle of this shutdown battle speaks volumes about what they really look like.
“The young are covered until the age of 26 under mom and pops insurance plan”.
Where is it written that I have to allow my children to be on my insurance plan? That is obligatory? We have to do that?
I chose not, as I was raised in a time when you tried to be independent by at least 18. No way you would be on Dad’s insurance until you were 26, and had a wife, and two or three kids. Has the world gone MAD?
What is the reason to allow them to be on your policy (if you have one) until they are 26?
I hear a commercial for insurance on the AM drive in to work that makes me chuckle, they mention they have insurance for “child/adults” coming off the family policy at 26.
What the F is a child/adult at 26?
Sorry junior, you are on your own when it comes to insurance. It’s called motivation.
“Not if they have to pay for it.”
I hope the word gets out far & wide that this ISN’T FREE. Here in NJ it may decide a senate race that a month ago was a foregone conlusion for a Dem victory.
“Within the next week, Obama will think the one year delay is the right thing to do....to save his a** and the partys a**. The numbers just dont work.”
I agree. I think the Republicans are holding out for this. Their internals are probably showing that this abortion of a program is not going to work. And they will use the debt ceiling as the delay.
Everyone has one and only one problem at this point. Anything they do which benefits the American people means Ted Cruz and Mike Lee were right. And that is the last thing they want.
No Pell grants for YOU! Those student loans? It would be a shame if the interest rate went up.
Said the Chicago thug.
To keep them voting as Dems. If they had to suffer the consequences of their vote, they might think twice. And, it will make the transition from My-Parents to Big-Government-as-Parent smoother.
Maybe King Obunga with the wave of his Sceptra will declare that the 2016 $695 no insurance penalty has been retroactively moved up to 2014.
