I'm tired of this "what's the endgame" business. These senators always want to know what's going to happen ahead of time. They don't call a vote unless they know it will succeed, etc.
They are scared to death because they don't know what's going to happen. And they can't position themselves ahead of time to confront it.
But if you stand on principle, you're prepared for whatever may come, or don't care because you stood on principle and let the chips fall.
Those that do not stand on principle, like Kelly Ayotte, are being smoked out, called out, made to account for their actions and they don't like it!

They’re being by Sen Cruz to do what they were elected to do for once, and it’s killing them. They hate being forced to actually abide by all the rhetoric they spew during their campaigns about “looking out for you” and protecting our freedom and representing our interests.

And they are showing that it is at times like this...when no solutions and feeling like no direction....that one thing always matters ...principles.
I have a framed poster of a hiker with backpack crossing an iced over rope foot bridge. It says:
Courage of Integrity
The highest courage is to dare to be yourself in the face of adversity. Choosing right over wrong, ethics over convenience, and truth over popularity...these are the choices that measure your life. Travel the path of integrity without looking back, for there is never a wrong time to do the right thing.

The strategy, Mzzzz. Ayotte, is to smoke out you fake, feckless, phony frauds who pretend to oppose the Fascist 'Rats but then hand them victory after victory, all with proper collegiality and decorum, while laughing in the faces of the people who sent you there.

Cruz should tell her surrender isn’t a strategy either. It’s collaberation.

Were I any kind of conspiracy theorist, the wavering from support of conservative principle could be explained by acknowledging that somebody, or several somebodies, high in the Current Regime now squatting in the White Hut, has access to some very damaging and incriminating information that would reflect negatively on the “enemies” kept on the list. And that this information came from resources connected with the surveillance programs now in place that have been condemned and castigated at many points throughout the world, but seem to still be in operation.
Or maybe I just watch too much of “Person of Interest”, “Scandal” and “Revenge”. These particular fictional dramas seem to have an underlying appeal for a lot of people who have become predisposed to investing a great deal of belief that the possibilities presented are very close to actuality.

New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte confronted Cruz with copies of ads run by an outside conservative group against her over her vote to allow Sen. Harry Reid to gut the ObamaCare defunding provisions Maybe the ditz ought to pay more attention to the people she "represents".

Kelly Ayotte...
Member of the Gang of 14 Traitors who voted for Amnesty with Chuck Schumer and Marco Rubio
Member of the Pro-Socialism Block of the GOP for voting to NOT Defund ObamaCommieCare
What’s her claim to the Republican name anyway?
Seems to vote straight Democrat.

The RINO’s need to explain how capitulating and pre-emptive surrender helps the Republican Party.

Well those Senate Republicans who lashed out at Rep. Cruz should enjoy their last days in Washington, if the voters do their duty!

Gov. Palin, you supported them both.
They're there because of your help.
Step in and straighten this out, please.

Senators with the Ayotte mentality bankrupted our country, fiscally and morally.
Senators with the Cruz mentality are trying to save what is left worth saving.

That whole talk about "end game" is preposterous. Cruz is a Harvard lawyer, law clerk to the Supreme Court, accomplished legal counsel. He knows how to strategize. The end game is that one side caves first. Cruz is hoping that it won't be Republicans, but if it is, it won't be because of him. Whether he is willing to agree to negotiate a one year delay to Obamacare, I don't know, but to me that would be the best thing to push for. Let us go to the voters in 2014 on the issue, and let them decide. If they want to go socialist, they can go to hell, but I still believe there are enough there to get rid of Harry Reid and get us the Senate. Then the strategy is REPEAL, REPEAL, REPEAL.
Smart people don't describe their moves in advance. Why does everyone want to know the end game? Did Bobbie Fischer tell Boris his moves ahead of time?

Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte confronted Cruz with copies of ads run by an outside conservative group against her over her vote to allow Sen. Harry Reid to gut the ObamaCare defunding provisions of the House-passed Continuing Resolution. She demanded that Cruz explain his "strategy" over the defunding fight. She should have confronted Mitch McConnell to demand that he explain his capitulation strategy that she fell for.
