I'm a big fan of proper planning, logistics, and execution when it comes to large scale events, but let's not forget that we're not necessarily discussing the usual here.
The time for large scale, organized rallies in the park, with stages and speakers is over. The times and the threat we face, demand a very different kind of response from the people. We've now reached the point where we need to conduct widespread and sustained acts of civil disobedience to push back against the tyrannical federal behemoth.
Sure, a fair amount of organizing will be required to execute effective major demonstrations of that type, but it's not nearly as neat and meticulous as that required for planning a major rally. I'd say we should be careful to not over-think and over-plan such things. It's much more important to harness and direct the people's anger in a productive direction.
Seconding all you say. Demonstrations invite disaster
OK so with all that said will you starting your own personal insurrection in your backyard, Mr Fawkes, or will you be joining us all in DC tomorrow?
