The problem with Sebelius’ answer is that it’s a lie - like every thing else about Obamacare. It’s because the insurance companies are no longer allowed to sell the old policies. Insurance policies must now include all of the Obamacare giveaways. This means the policies must now include the cost of coverage for pre-existing conditions, “the pill” for sluts, coverage for 26 year old kids, etc. This is the source of the cost increases. Sure, you can avoid the exchanges by paying the fines, but you can’t avoid the costs!

For a lot of young folks, there is one fall on the basketball court, one auto accident from a lifetime of hospital bills they can't pay. Wait a minute, Kathleen...
Isn't one of the provisions of Obamacare that it pays for pre-existing conditions"? If that is true, why can't I wait to sign up when I fall, have an accident or have a stroke?
